This summer, I’m prioritizing self-care and a slower pace. With school out, fewer kiddo activities and more family time, I’ve been super intentional about how I want our days to flow.
I started planning this past spring by mapping out our entire summer week by week, what camps we would do, when we would be home or traveling and how to make it a restful, yet fun-filled summer.
My mornings start with a devotion time and I prioritize my Burn Bootcamp workout for my mental and physical health. Most days we incorporate sunshine for some Vitamin D and many include afternoons at the pool or walks in the neighborhood. I love leaving the pool feeling energized and refreshed all while my daughter has had the opportunity to practice her swimming skills.
This intentional self-care isn’t about grand gestures; it’s about building in small, consistent practices that nurture my well-being. What small act of self-care are you committing to this summer?
