Recently I shared on social media a bit of my personal health journey with the 2 pictures below! I shared that post and this message because I hope it inspires and reminds you that we are not aiming for perfection in any areas of life, but especially our health!
I think you could summarize my adult life with 2 words: consistent and balanced.
Let me explain…
I love working out but I usually only get to the gym 3-4x a week, not 6 or 7. I love sweets and enjoy them, but I limit the amount and timing.
Both these pictures represent the true me: eating ice cream and working out.

I have stayed consistent with workouts since high school and I choose healthy food a majority of the time but I’m far from perfect.
Learning the habits of consistency and balance have served me well over the past 20 some years as an adult and I’m so grateful!!
It’s not a race and it’s not about being perfect. Both lead to burnout. As a coach, it’s my goal to take what I’ve learned and teach clients how to find balance and consistency because both bring long term success!
If you notice you struggle with a desire for perfection or you have no idea how to create balance or consistency, the Habit Finder Assessment tool is an amazing place to start because it will bring awareness and expose areas that lead to these thought habits holding you back.
You can take the FREE assessment here and I’d love to talk more.
